1987 Le froid est mordant en ce jour d’avril. Je me réfugie dans la galerie de la Tour des Prisons à Berne. Je déambule dans l’espace d’exposition. La rencontre avec la sculpture de verre “ Large Bowl for Gathering Light " de l’artiste Stephen Procter est un choc esthétique (cf. image ci-dessus). Voir la profondeur me laisse sans voix. L’ Espace vide me parle. Je sors de la galerie transformé. Un Espace s’ouvre. Ma vie bascule. Je quitte ma profession d’infirmier à Genève pour me former comme souffleur de verre à Orrefors, en Suède. Depuis plus de 35 ans, ma pratique d’artiste explore l’Espace du vivant, joyeux et coloré.

BIOGRAPHY
1987 The cold is biting on this April day. I take refuge in the gallery of the Prison Tower in Bern. I wander through the exhibition space. Encountering the glass sculpture Large Bowl for Gathering Light by artist Stephen Procter is an aesthetic shock (see image above). The empty space contained within the sculpture draws me in, propels me into the unknown. To feel what I see is beyond me. I leave the gallery transformed. A space opens up. My life shifts. I leave Geneva to train as a glassblower in Orrefors, Sweden. For more than 35 years, my artistic practice explore l’ “Espace du Beau “.
2022 Musée Ariana, Genève. The exhibition Hubert Crevoisier. I am blue, I am yellow, I am glass... and I see red! invites visitors to immerse themselves in the four cardinal points of color. The sculpture “Baton Rouge” offers a way to see, perceive, and feel how Yellow Dynamic transforms Blue Mountain into Green Cathedral.
